This page explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or send us an inquiry, why we do it and what your rights are.
1. Who processes your data
The controllers are the owners of the holiday home, Suzana and Danijel Kukić, as private renters (individuals, not a company):

2. What we process and why
Inquiries (form, email, phone, WhatsApp)
When you send us an inquiry, we process the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional), dates of stay, number of guests, whether you want glamping cabins, and your message. We use them only to reply and to arrange your stay. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
An inquiry sent with the form on this website is delivered by email via the Resend service to our inbox (babylonica2022@gmail.com, Gmail – Google).
Online booking
The online booking buttons take you to the Rentlio booking system (drvenakucababylonica.book.rentl.io). You enter your booking details there, and Rentlio processes them on our behalf for the booking and your stay. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the legal obligations of a holiday rental host (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Visit statistics
We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. It records the page visited, the page you came from, country, device type, browser and operating system, and clicks on key buttons (e.g. booking, phone, email, WhatsApp, price list). We only see this data in aggregate, not per person. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how useful the website is (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Technical data when you visit
The website is served by Vercel. On every visit, your IP address and browser details are processed technically so that the website can be delivered and protected against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Guest reviews
We show excerpts of public reviews from our Google profile (first name and initial, text and date) with a link to Google. If you do not want your review to be shown here, let us know and we will remove it.
3. Cookies
This website does not set cookies for statistics or advertising. Third-party content (e.g. Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook) only opens when you click a link yourself.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. These service providers process it on our behalf:
- Vercel Inc. (USA) – website hosting and cookieless visit statistics
- Resend (USA) – sending form inquiries by email
- Google (Gmail) – our email inbox that receives inquiries
- Rentlio – online booking system
Vercel and Resend are US companies. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
If you contact us via WhatsApp or social media, the privacy policies of those providers apply.
5. How long we keep data
Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted no later than 12 months after the last message. If you book, we keep the data for as long as the law requires (e.g. tax rules and guest registration rules). Visit statistics only exist in aggregate form.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us at babylonica2022@gmail.com or use the Contact page.
